- How
much does "Associate" membership cost?
The fee is $99.00 for local ISM-San Diego membership or $209.00
for dual ISM-San Diego / ISM membership. Quite a bargain!

How do I pay my membership dues?
For an “Associate” membership you can pay online
via credit card (Amex, Visa, or MasterCard) or mail the payment
to: PO BOX 1591 Poway, CA 92074. If becoming a new member, you
can also pay initial dues online or mail completed application
to ISM- San Diego's PO Box above. Dues for a “Regular”
membership must be paid directly to ISM. The link can be found
on our membership page.
- How
do I renew my “Associate” membership?
Each year you will receive an email from the affiliate reminding
you that your annual dues are due. (Please make sure that your
email address is always updated with ISM-SD). To renew your
membership, simply pay online or return the letter with your
payment to ISM-San Diego's PO Box.
- What
if my membership expires?
If your “Associate” membership expires, you can
reinstate your membership with ISM-SD at no cost. If you are
reinstating as a "Regular" member (ISM-SD and ISM)
ISM will charge a $50 reinstatement fee for processing.

- What
is the difference between joining ISM-SD and joining ISM as
a "Direct National" member?
When you contact ISM directly to apply for membership, you may
be asked "Do you want to join as a "Direct National
Member" or do you want to join an affiliate (i.e. “Regular”
membership). If you do not specify that you want to also
join ISM, San Diego, you will be enrolled automatically only
as a Direct National Member (ISM ONLY). If this occurs
you may not be able to transfer your membership to our affiliate
until the following year, and will not enjoy the benefits of
being a member of ISM-San Diego. If you apply for membership
through the affiliate, you will automatically be enrolled as
a member of ISM-SD as well as ISM.
- How
can I join ISM-San Diego?
There are several convenient ways of becoming a member of ISM-San
Diego. Go to our website www.ISM-sd.org and click on the "Apply
Online" folder on the right. To join ISM-SD fill out the
online application, or download the PDF version of the application,
complete it and mail it to the address shown at the bottom.
You can also come to one of our monthly dinner meetings and

- How
do I transfer my ISM membership to ISM-San Diego?
To initiate the process of transferring from another ISM affiliate
to ISM-San Diego, fill out an application or email us your
name with professional/address information. Please include the
name of your old affiliate membership number your wish to "transfer
your membership to ISM-SD". We need the information that
is on the application to insure that both National us have your
up-to-date address information. Do not include money at this
time. You can send the membership information to our PO Box
noted on our website or email it to ISMsd@ISMsd.org.
In
order to not hold up the transfer process, ISM-San Diego will
submit the paperwork to ISM in Tempe AZ while we are obtaining
the information and funds with your old affiliate. We will contact
the affiliate you are transferring from and find out your anniversary
date when you last paid them. If you are now at your renewal
time with the old affiliate, we will bill you only for the ISM-SD
renewing member price of $ 150.00. The initiation fees do not
apply for transferring members.
